Melissa Sabitov

My name is Melissa Sabitov and I am interning with a local nonprofit located in the greater Orlando area called IDEAS For Us. IDEAS For Us as an organization strives to implement local solutions to environmental issues around central Florida, mainly focusing on under served communities. I was given the opportunity to work with this organization for a two semesters as an ecoaction intern. Alongside my supervisor and other colleagues, we are in charge of allocating our given resources to events such as environmental education workshops, pollinator garden establishments, reforestations, public seminars, and many other things of this nature. In the future, I hope to be able to implement the skills I have learned with this organization into my future career working in the public relations sector, mainly focusing on environmental non profits and organizations.
